FOOD DRIVES
Many organizations, churches, schools,
businesses, and more choose to help the food
bank each year through organizing food
drives among their members. Oftentimes this
coincides with the holidays, but many times
it does not. After all, people are hungry
365 days a year, not just over the holidays.

ANNUAL AGENCY MEETING
The 2008 Annual Agency Meeting was a huge
success! Remember to look out for
information on our 2009 Agency Meeting, most
likely to be held in April or May of 2009 at
the food bank. As always, we will have door
prizes, helpful community information, and
most importantly, all who attend will
receive a $10 credit on their account just
for attending! |

TURKEY TIME!!!
During previous Thanksgiving seasons a few
agencies contacted the Food Bank about
purchasing additional turkeys at cost. This
year we will be able to once again provide
this service to member agencies.Listed
below are the guidelines for purchasing
additional Thanksgiving turkeys. This will
in no way affect the regular turkeys
distributed by the Food Bank for
Thanksgiving. However, if you do need
additional turkeys it will save you the time
of purchasing these yourself.
Minimum order of 5 cases required (4
turkeys per case, 10-12 lbs. per bird). Case
weight: approx. 44-48 lbs.
Price per pound will be .78/lb. (a case
will cost approximately $38)
Order form must be completed and returned
to the Food Bank no later than September 2,
2008.
Product will be invoiced separately and
must be paid within 10 days of pickup.
Product will be available for pickup at
the Food Bank beginning November 2008.
Turkeys will be basted, netted, and have a
popup thermometer.
